It all started with a $100,000 Venice party.

A few years back, Lion's Gate Resort needed a 40' x 20' backdrop of Venice for a hotel’s grand opening party. Artist John Thomas put his artistic talents to work, and two weeks later he delivered the finished backdrop. The client and the party guest loved its detailed artwork and dramatic appeal. So the company Propsters was started and now develops backdrops to enhance events everywhere.

The Propsters concept has grown and so has my client base, thanks to my creativity, excellent products and customer service. I can custom design your ideas for plays, concerts, banquets, trade shows and more.

I design high quality backdrops, hand painted on artist canvas with a dramatic look that creates the atmosphere you desire and the results you want. Choose from several of my backdrops in various sizes. The most common are 12' x 15' and 15' x 30'. I can also custom design any concept of any size you desire. I will take your idea and create a 8" x 11" Artist Rendering called a thumbnail. The thumbnail will be submitted for approval. Once approved, we’ll go to work, hand painting by brush on a fireproof treated material. I can also custom paint exquisite murals.
